AMERICUS HOSPICE, INC. offers different levels of care to meet the individual needs of each patient. Each level is designed to accommodate the patient’s acuity level and assist the family during a crisis.
We provide the following levels of care:
- Routine Home Care
- Inpatient Care
- Respite Care
- Continuous Care
Routine Home Care is the most common hospice service, provided in the patient’s home or a facility. It includes regular visits from the hospice team to manage symptoms and offer emotional, spiritual, and practical support. This care helps patients remain comfortable in familiar surroundings.
Inpatient Care is short-term care provided in a facility when symptoms cannot be managed at home. It offers 24/7 clinical support for pain, distress, or medical emergencies. Once stabilized, the patient can return to a lower level of care.
Respite Care provides temporary care in a facility to give family caregivers a much-needed break. The patient receives full hospice support during this time. It helps caregivers recharge while ensuring their loved one remains safe and comfortable.
Continuous Home Care offers around-the-clock nursing support during a medical crisis. It is provided in the patient’s home to manage severe symptoms and avoid hospitalization. The goal is to stabilize the condition while keeping the patient in a peaceful, familiar environment.
